MODEL 944WL (with Windlock System)

The Trac-Rite® 944WL is ideal for the same residential, self-storage, and light-duty commercial uses as the Model 944. In addition, Trac-Rite's windlock system provides maximum wind resistance for this model. As wind blows against the 944WL, the curtain's windlocks engage with the door guide for a strong interlocking grip. This grip keeps the curtain securely in the guide. Continuous curtain of solid steel is durable, attractive, and available in a variety of colors. The 944WL is available in custom sizes from 8'W x 3'H to 11'W x 10'4"H in 1" increments. Step 1: Measure Framed Opening

Measure your framed opening. Doors are custom made to 1" increments in both width and height.

FOR EXAMPLE: If your framed opening is 7'6" wide and 8'0" high, you would order a 7'6"W x 8'0"H (width first, height second) door. A = Width B = Height

 
 

Step 2: Measure Mounting Surfaces

Measure the mounting surface areas. NOTE: all mounting surfaces must be flush.

 
 

Step 3: Measure Door Clearance

Measure the door clearance. NOTE: Insulated doors require an additional 1" of back room and head room.

Measure your framed opening. Doors are custom made to 1" increments in both width and height.

Measure the mounting surface areas. NOTE: all mounting surfaces must be flush.

 
 

Step 3: Measure Door Clearance

Measure the door clearance. NOTE: Insulated doors require an additional 1" of back room and head room.

Choose Model 944, 944WL, 977, 977WL, 988, or 988WL from the Door Model Selection Chart. If you are unsure of the best choice for your particular application, consider how your door will be used. The Model 944 is ideal for residential and light-duty needs. Model 988 offers the largest door dimensions. The “WL” models may be needed when building codes require a specific PSF rating.

The Trac-Rite® 988 door is designed for commercial uses in everything from shipping docks and warehouses to car washes and auto body shops. Available in custom sizes from 10'W x 8'H to 16'W x 16'H in 1" increments, the 988 features a 26-gauge, rigid-rib steel curtain that is durable, attractive, and requires little maintenance. As wind blows against the 988WL, the curtain's windlocks engage with the door guide for a strong interlocking grip. This grip keeps the curtain securely in the guide.
